Columbia College – student film shoot at Overflow Coffee
Entrenuity, Overflow Coffee, and Mox.E Coworking are excited about our growing relationship with Columbia College. Columbia students are not only frequent customers at Overflow but also serve as employees, student interns, and volunteers. They've done multiple special projects for us, including marketing, merch campaigns, photo exhibits, and more! Columbia will also be hosting an Entrenuity boot camp in February 2024 to engage students in the process of planning and launching their own businesses. It's been a pleasure to work with the talented and creative students from Columbia and to welcome them to our space as they pursue their dreams.
One such student is Overflow barista and Columbia student, Eleanor Agnew. Eleanor is the Line Producer for the short film, Her, directed by Columbia student Ashlynn Egan, recently shot on location at Overflow Coffee. Line Producers are at the heart of production, making sure the filming is done creatively and on budget, and ultimately ensuring every department has what it needs. They oversee all of production and, more than anything, facilitate creativity. Typically while at Overflow, Eleanor can be found pulling shots, steaming milk, and serving customers with excellence. It was inspiring to observe Eleanor in her role as Producer, pursuing her passion for "films that explore complex and imperfect leading characters, and that push audiences into unknown and potentially uncomfortable places." Great job, Eleanor and crew. We can't wait to see the final production!
