Moxe Impact Fund
Entrenuity introduces Mark W. King to the Mox.E Team
Mark W. King has spent 30 years providing financing for entrepreneurs. He started his career in international micro-enterprise lending and urban economic development. For the last 20 years Mark has been investing in venture capital backed companies in a variety of industries. Most recently, Mark was Managing Director and Co-Head of Ares Venture Finance where he invested primarily in growth stage technology companies.
Mark holds a B.A., cum laude, from Wheaton College in Political Science and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School in Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Non-profit Strategy. He is also a CFA® charter holder.
Mark joins the Entrenuity team to help establish the Moxe Impact Fund, which will address the negligible amount of capital available for minority and women owned businesses by mobilizing capital as an impact fund for minority and women-owned businesses that meet Moxe’s screening criteria.
Mark is the lucky husband of Tina, proud father of three teenage boys, and wrangler of two Mini Goldendoodles--all of whom share his love of Chicago and Door County, Wisconsin and patiently tolerate his passion for podcasting and Chicago blues.
