Wheaton college students pitch their business plans using the StartingUp Now curriculum.
Wheaton College students from the Center for Urban Engagement took a class this past semester called Community Economic Development and Enterprise with David Doig and Brian Jenkins. Their final presentation was pitching their business ideas to a panel of judges. The pitch event was a great experience! The students were well prepared and presented creative, well thought-out business ideas, complete with market research and financial projections. Plans included businesses in the coffee industry, grain imports, education, cowork sharing and even a beverage holder designed to make airline travel more comfortable and convenient. Well done Wheaton students!
